Bij een ongeval op de afrit van de A 73 met de A67 omstreeks 11.15 uur woensdagmorgen is een personenauto, model jeep, over de kop gegaan, waarbij de twee inzittenden en een hond betrokken raakten. Beide inzittenden raakten gewond, waarbij sprake was van beknelling van \u00e9\u00e9n van hen. Om de inzittenden uit het wrak te halen werd de hulp van de brandweer in geroepen. Deze zette zwaar materieel in, waaronder tilkussens in om het wrak op te heffen om zodoende werkruimte te krijgen. Hiervoor moest de afrit afgezet worden, waardoor een file ontstond. De hond werd uit de auto gehaald en overgedragen aan de dierenambulance.
