In de nacht van zondag op maandag omstreeks 02.45 uur heeft er een eenzijdig verkeersongeval plaatsgevonden op de A67. Een 31-jarige man uit Venlo reed in zijn personenauto in de richting van Eindhoven. Hierbij had hij zijn voertuig niet voortdurend onder controle. Hierdoor botste hij tegen de vangrail aan de rechterzijde van de weg.<\/span><\/p>\n

Omdat het letsel in eerste instantie zeer ernstig leek werd de trauma-helikopter ingezet. Deze werd later gecancelled. In het ziekenhuis bleek de toestand van de bestuurder echter achteruit te gaan. Hij is met ernstig rugletsel overgebracht naar het ziekenhuis van Maastricht. Een 22-jarige inzittende uit Blerick en een 28-jarige inzittende uit Venlo zijn ter controle overgebracht naar het ziekenhuis. Zij zijn niet in levensgevaar.<\/p>\n

De man die in de nacht van zondag op maandag omstreeks 02.45 uur ernstig gewond raakte bij een eenzijdig verkeersongeval op de A67 is niet de 31-jarige bestuurder uit Venlo maar een 29-jarige inzittende uit Blerick.

\nOmdat het letsel man in eerste instantie zeer ernstig leek werd de trauma-helikopter ingezet. De man is echter per ambulance overgebracht naar het ziekenhuis. In het ziekenhuis bleek de toestand van de man echter achteruit te gaan. Hij is met ernstig rugletsel overgebracht naar het ziekenhuis van Maastricht. Een 22-jarige inzittende uit Blerick en een de 31-jarige bestuurder uit Venlo zijn ter controle overgebracht naar het ziekenhuis. Zij zijn lichtgewond geraakt.<\/p>\n

Het ongeval is vermoedelijk ontstaan doordat de 31-jarige bestuurder uit Venlo de personenauto niet voortdurend onder controle had. Hierdoor botste hij tegen de vangrail aan de rechterzijde van de weg.<\/p>\n
