Het vervoer van gevaarlijke stoffen is geregeld in de Wet vervoer van gevaarlijke stoffen over de weg (WVGS), het Besluit vervoer gevaarlijke stoffen (Bvgs) en in de Regeling vervoer over land van gevaarlijk stoffen (VLG).<\/p>\n<p>De inspectie verricht controles bij afzenders en producenten om ervoor te zorgen dat het vervoer veilig begint, maar ook soms op de weg zelf zoals afgelopen week op de A67. De afzender is onder meer verantwoordelijk voor een juiste indeling, verpakking en etikettering van gevaarlijke stoffen.
